Joyful Christmas

Are you ready for the holidays?  I'm not but I need to start thinking ahead.  The only holiday stamp set I have since the new Holiday Catalog came out on August 1st is Joyful Christmas.  I won this stamp set at Stampin' Up!'s Convention this year.  Guess I need to start thinking about the holidays and place an order soon or it will be too late!
To create this card, start with a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" piece of Smoky Slate card stock; scored at 4 1/4".  Stamp the leaves from the Joyful Christmas stamp set in Pool Party twice creating a "V" on a 5 1/4" x 4" piece of Whisper White card stock.  Stamp the greeting from the same set in Island Indigo above the leaves.  Add a 2 1/2" x 4" piece of DSP from the Winter Frost DSP Stack.  Cut a 1/4" x 4" piece of Silver Glimmer Paper and add to the Whisper White card stock layer under the Winter Frost DSP layer.  Adhere this completed layer to the Smoky Slate card base.  Add three rhinestones to the Pool Party leaves to look like berries.

If you're like me and not ready to think about the holidays, let this be your reminder that the holidays always come very quickly once fall arrives.  So check out Stampin' Up!'s Holiday Catalog here and contact your SU! demonstrator or one of the bakers right away to place your order.  Don't let the rush of the season pass you by this year.
