Lunch Bunch Cards for December

Card Design Idea by Teresa Mitchell on Pinterest
This Buffalo Check card was simple to make using Powder Pink and Basic Gray to create a plaid look for the background of the card.  The Stitched Labels stamp set and framelits added so much detail to the card without it being too much.  Since I didn't have any Gray Gingham ribbon like the original card used, I substituted some retired 1/2" Powder Pink ribbon layered with some retired 1/4" Basic Gray shimmer ribbon.  To layer the ribbon, I just added some snail to the Gray ribbon and placed it on top of the Powder Pink ribbon.  When I tied my bow, I had to make sure the Gray ribbon was showing more than the Powder Pink ribbon but glue dots can make anything easier.

For this Merry card, I used the Sparkle Glimmer Paper.  It made the tree shine and really "pop" when layered on the Frosted Floral Specialty DSP.  The Iridescent Sequins added some wonderful colors to an otherwise very plain card.

Stamp Club Cards for December

December is always a hard month to plan cards for.  I finally feel ready to prepare holiday cards but I also want to add in some practical cards or giftcards as well.  The first card we created was a combination of two cards I saw on Pinterest.  I mixed one of Candy Ford's designs and one of LeeAnn Greff's designs to come up with a giftcard I loved to share with my Club members.
I used the leaves from the Winter Woods framelits on the pocket for this giftcard.
I decided to use the Sprig Punch with the Galvanized Metallic Paper and Vellum for the pocket on this card.
When I first saw this next card on Pinterest, I was in "awe."  It was a "pin" from a card posted on Etsy so I don't even know who the original creator of this card design is.  I loved the use of Blueberry Bushel and Basic Gray for the card.  Adding the vellum sprigs and Blueberry Bushel flowers gave this card just the right amount of focus so the gorgeous deer could still be the focal point of the card.

The final card we created using the Winter Woods stamp set and framelits (again).  This has become one of my favorite bundles to use for holiday cards this season.  Since my Club members hadn't used the popped out tree yet, I knew we had to do this gorgeous card this month.  Adding Silver Foil Paper, the Softly Falling embossing folder and Red Rhinestones made this card sparkle.
