Picture Perfect Birthday Card

Original Card by Lisa Kmiec
I am enjoying the Picture Perfect Party Suite from the stamp set to the bright colors in the DSP and the embellishments.  It makes creating birthday or celebration cards so much fun to create!  This card was really easy to reproduce especially if you need a few in your stash to send later.  I found it on Pinterest and reproduced a few to have on hand during the next few months.

For this card, you stamp the birthday bow (a 3-step stamp process) in the middle and then twice more in 2 different colors.  Or you can stamp the bows on a scrap piece of cardstock and fussy cut them and add them to the card with dimensionals like I did here.  It just depends on the look you are going for.  Add a bit of bright ribbon and a birthday greeting and you're done!  Simple, easy and bright all in one fun card.  Enjoy giving it a try!

Lunch Bunch Cards for February

This month's cards used Occasions and SAB Catalogs items.  The first card used the Petal Palette stamp set and bundle and the color combinations of Fresh Fig, Early Espresso and Copper Embossing Powder.  It is gorgeous!

This card uses the SAB Party Pandas stamp set and the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set for the sentiment.  The Petal Passion DSP gives this card a great black and white background.  I changed the original design by stamping a few little flowers in black on Whisper White cardstock from the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set on the left side of the card.  Using Lemon Lime Twist with the black and white really makes this card POP!

Lunch Bunch Cards for February

This month's Lunch Bunch cards were so fun to create.  The first card is whimsical and perfect for a birthday.  I love how the Petal Passion DSP of black and white lets the Lemon Lime Twist features "pop".  The card uses the Party Pandas (SAB) stamp set which is perfect to add to any $50 order.

This card uses the Petal Palette stamp set and Petals and More Thinlits.  I loved how the vellum embossed with copper embossing powder looks behind the bird.  It really softens the card and adds some dimension with the copper embossing powder.  The tone on tone Crumb Cake leaves on the card base looks amazing!

Your Day Is Magical Card

My customer and friend, Marcia loves Harry Potter and the magical look of Stampin' Up!'s Magical Day stamp set.  Here she created a card using the Magical Day bundle: stamp set, framelits and DSP.
I love how it looks like the magician is popping out of the card and handing you a wish.  It makes this birthday card even more magical.  The color combination in the Myths and Magic DSP is really unusual and gives this card a great touch.  I hope you enjoy it as well.

Stamp Club Cards for February

We had so much fun creating these Club cards using new products from the Occasions and SAB Catalogs.  I like to use as many of the Occasions Catalog and SAB Catalog products as possible this time of year.  The first card uses the Waterfront stamp set from the Occasions Catalog.  I loved the simplicity of this card when I first saw it on Pinterest.  There are lots of card samples for the Waterfront stamp set on Pinterest.  So give one a try and you will fall in love with this stamp set instantly.  Click here to view the card recipe.

I loved the Beautiful Peacock stamp set as soon as I saw it in the SAB Catalog.  As I tried to figure out how I wanted to use it, I kept coming up with cards that were too difficult or not the right color combinations.  So I went to Pinterest and had to create this card with my Stamp Club as soon as I saw it.  I love the touch of gold in the little piece of Eastern Palace Speciality DSP and the Gold Foil in the oval behind the peacock image.  It makes this card look so shiny and classy.  Click here to view the card recipe.

I had to create the same card with all the colors from the SAB Tutti-Fruitti Cards and Envelopes since there was so many creating this card at Stamp Club.  But it didn't matter if you used the Pool Party, Daffodil Delight, Calypso Coral or Lemon Lime Twist cards and envelopes.  They all turned out beautiful.  Click here to view the card recipe.
Our final card was so elegant and simple that it makes me take a double-take every time I see it.  I love how Stampin' Up! tries new things all the time and this new type of stamp...Distinktive stamp gives your finished image a perfect photographic finish.  The best part about this type of stamp is that it is so easy to use.  Just add ink, stamp and you have a perfect photographic image every time.  Click here to view the card recipe.

Magical Day Birthday Card

This fun birthday day was created by one of my customers, Marcia.  She loves to stamp and create cards and this one is so much fun to give away.  She used the Magical Day stamp set to stamp the dragon and the words "Hope Your Day Is Magical" then she cut them out with the Magical Mates Framelits, including the dragon's fire out of glitter paper.  She also used the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits to cut out the Myths and Magical DSP and create a fun envelope for the card.  She wrapped the Myths and Magic Speciality Washi Tape around the bottom of the envelope which I think makes it look like piano keys at the bottom.  Finally she cut out the "Happy Birthday" words from the Myths and Magic Glimmer Paper using the Happy Bithday Thinlits.  I love how whimsical this card is for someone's birthday!

Don't you just love how the dragon from Magical Day pops out of the Mini Treat bag card?
