A little bit late...Sorry!

Here are the cards we made for our May Hostess Club:
For this card, punch 2 flowers and the center of the flower using the Fun Flowers Big Shot die.  Use the Mother of Pearl technique on glossy cardstock to give these flowers a shiny and elegant look.  Sponge any color you wish onto the flowers once the Frost White Shimmer Paint (#116854) has dried.  Punch out leaves using the leaves from the Bird punch (#117191).  Add some colored cardstock on the left side with a bit of ribbon and a greeting on the card to create a quick and elegant looking card for any Birthday, Anniversary or Just Because.
This gift card idea is CASEd from a card I received at Convention last year.  I loved the bright colors and simplicity of this idea!  Use the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder (#117335) for the outside of this gift card holder.  Punch out the center of the front of the holder using the 2 3/8" Scallop Circle punch (#118874) to showcase your flowers in the center.  Add some ribbon and a greeting punched out from the Large Oval punch (#119855).

Now work on the gift card holder.  Cut out 2 flowers using the 5 Petal Flower punch (#119880) and create details on each petal by using a corner of the 1 1/4" Square Punch (#119865) to cut a notch out of each flower petal.  Sponge edges of the flower petals to give the flowers a bit of a "wow" factor.  Layer flowers onto each other and add leaves behind the flowers.  Then place the gift card holder inside the outside wrapper to complete this awesome gift card holder.  This would make a great Birthday, Graduation or Teacher Appreciation card/gift card holder.

Our final card was so SIMPLE!  Emboss gray cardstock using the Flower Garden Embossing Folder (#123113) and cut out around where the flowers are embossed on your cardstock.  Create an edge to the gray layer using the Scallop Trim Border punch (#118402).  Add ribbon and adhere to the Whisper White card base.  Cut the card base out around the flowers.  Leave a bit of white card base to add to the dimension of your flowers.  Finally, add a colored strip of cardstock where the flowers are cut out and add a greeting with the new Four Frames stamp set (#123440 - WM or #123442 - CM) and punch it out with the Decorative Label punch (#120907).
If you have any questions about how to make these cards, contact me today or leave a comment to let me know what you think of them.  Thanks!  I hope your stamping becomes a personal therapy day for you!
