January Club Cards

Stampin' Up! has outdone itself this year!  I am in love with all the new products in the Occasions and SAB Catalogs.  If you haven't gotten your hands on these catalogs yet, please contact me today.
My favorite suite in the Occasions Catalog is the Petal Passion Suite.  I love the black and white DSP and Memories and More cards!  It's so easy to add some color with the new Stampin' Blends, a Sponge Brayer or Stampin' Spritzers.  The suite also has a new canvas-like stamp set with thinlits to match, new embossing folders, new leaf and flower embellishments, and the gorgeous white organza ribbon in a new 1/4" size.

Here is one of the cards we will be creating at Stamp Club this weekend that uses the Petal Passion DSP and Stampin' Blends:

It is very easy to put together.  Check out the card recipe here for more instructions.  I also switched it up from the original design to be perfect for a Valentine's Day card.

Here is an Easel Card using the Petal Passion DSP, Petal Palette stamp set and Thinlits Dies:
Original Card Idea by Jari at Card-iology
The Easel card is created like a normal card but with a folded piece of cardstock underneath to help it stand up.  I used a mini calendar that I ordered from Taylor Expressions.  Directions and a mini printable calendar can be found on Splitcoast Stampers here.  I decided to change out the DSP and the colored cardstock layer which changes up the card completely.  It gave the card a softer, more feminine look.  You can find the card recipe here.
