Celebrate The Good Stuff card

Original card by Mary Fish
This card is full of bright colors and so much fun for a birthday celebration.  Plus, it's simple to put together and it uses the new Tutti-Frutti Adhesive Sequins which make crafting a lot easier in bright colors.  Another option for the Celebrate The Good Stuff card is using the square framelit from the Stitched Shapes Framelits and changing out the DSP to another pattern in the Picture Perfect Party DSP.  Both cards use the same items just in different ways.  I love how the colors pop!

Tip: Line up the 3 candle stamps on one clear block. Cover the other 2 with a post-it note when inking 1 of the candles. Take off post-it note and stamp. Clean the stamp and repeat for the other 2 candles. This way all 3 stamps line up perfectly.

Lunch Bunch Cards for January

Original Idea by Cathy Caines (Pinterest)
I loved this card when I first saw it and it uses my favorite DSP...the Petal Passion DSP!  It came together so quickly, too.  All I needed was a Basic Black card base, a sheet of the Petal Passion DSP, stamp a quick saying and cut it out with the Stitched Shapes Framelits, and some Stampin' Blends to color it all in.  The best part of this card...it made me feel like an artist!  I love how the Stampin' Blends help you feel artistic when you may not be normally :)  Click here to view the card recipe.
Original card idea from SU! Stampin' Success magazine (a magazine for demos)

A close up of the embossed flowers from Petal Palette
This card was an immediate "I gotta do" when I saw it on the back of the Stampin' Success magazine; SU!'s magazine just for demonstrators. It uses the Wood Textures DSP (a favorite of mine), the Petal Palette stamp set (one of my new favorites from the Occasions Catalog) and vibrant colors.  Altogether it is a wonderful card for an anniversary, a special birthday or anything else that you may need.  Click here to view the card recipe.

SAB Card Idea

Sale-A-Bration Catalog is full of awesome items to earn for FREE this year!  Check them out for yourself.  The SAB Catalog has stamp sets, card kits, DSP and thinlits.  All for FREE!
Click here to check out the SAB items for this year.
I decided to use some of the items in the SAB Catalog to create our Stamp Club cards this month.  Here is one we created using the Amazing You stamp set and the matching Celebrate You Thinlits Dies:
Original Idea by BJ Peters
I love the bright colors especially during this cold, winter day.  It helps to brighten my mood and help me be creative with other stamp sets.  This card is a quick and easy one to make and only takes minutes to create.  A great card for quick duplication when you need to send out a few cards in one month for different occasions.  The Celebrate You Thinlits Dies make this card so much easier to put together and I love how the fonts are different for all the words included in the dies.  Click here to view the card recipe.

January Club Cards

Stampin' Up! has outdone itself this year!  I am in love with all the new products in the Occasions and SAB Catalogs.  If you haven't gotten your hands on these catalogs yet, please contact me today.
My favorite suite in the Occasions Catalog is the Petal Passion Suite.  I love the black and white DSP and Memories and More cards!  It's so easy to add some color with the new Stampin' Blends, a Sponge Brayer or Stampin' Spritzers.  The suite also has a new canvas-like stamp set with thinlits to match, new embossing folders, new leaf and flower embellishments, and the gorgeous white organza ribbon in a new 1/4" size.
Check out the video by clicking here.
Here is one of the cards we will be creating at Stamp Club this weekend that uses the Petal Passion DSP and Stampin' Blends:
Original Idea by Mary Deatherage on Pinterest
It is very easy to put together.  Check out the card recipe here for more instructions.  I also switched it up from the original design to be perfect for a Valentine's Day card.

Here is an Easel Card using the Petal Passion DSP, Petal Palette stamp set and Thinlits Dies:
Original Card Idea by Jari at Card-iology
The Easel card is created like a normal card but with a folded piece of cardstock underneath to help it stand up.  I used a mini calendar that I ordered from Taylor Expressions.  Directions and a mini printable calendar can be found on Splitcoast Stampers here.  I decided to change out the DSP and the colored cardstock layer which changes up the card completely.  It gave the card a softer, more feminine look.  You can find the card recipe here.
