Butterflies Thinlits Card

Butterflies Thinlits Card

Need a quick Spring or Easter card?  All you need is some card stock, DSP, a stamp set and the Butterflies Thinlits die.  The Butterflies Thinlits die makes it so easy to create a beautiful card in no time at all using this simple die.  For this card, I made my card base a square card (5 ¼” x 10 ½” - scored at 5 ¼”).  First, I stamped my greeting in either Tangerine Tango or Night of Navy depending on the card you are looking at below.  Then, I cut out the largest butterfly using the Butterflies Thinlits die.  I placed the thinlits die near the top of my card so I had room for my greeting to show.  Tip for making the butterfly easier to pop out of the die: place 4 dryer sheets folded in half between the thinlits dies and the card stock.  This will allow your butterfly to easily come out of the die without having to use your paper piercer.  If you don't have dryer sheets, just poke out the card stock using your Paper Piercing Tool.   Next step, add the Whisper White layer and DSP layer with Stampin' Dimensionals to the card base.  Finally, add the cut out butterfly using glue dots in the middle of it's body and pop up the wings with your fingers.  Done!  Quick, easy and gorgeous in just a few minutes.
