Cards for March's Lunch Bunch Class

Here are the cards we created at Lunch Bunch this month:

I love the monochromatic colors of this card.  As soon as I saw it, I knew that we had to create it in our Lunch Bunch class.  It uses my favorite DSP of all time...the Petal Passion DSP from the Occasions Catalog.  There is so much you can do with this DSP!  Click here to view the card recipe.

I loved mixing two card designs to create this bright and elegant card using the SAB Blooming Basket bundle (stamp set and embossing folder).  Click here to view the card recipe.

Lunch Bunch Cards for March

This month's cards both featured flowers.  The first card features the Beautiful Day stamp set and the Petal Passion DSP.  I loved the simplicity of this card when I first saw it.  Cutting the DSP into 1" strips gave the background of this card more dimension before adding the sentiment and flower image as a focal point.

This second card features the Blossoming Basket SAB stamp set and the Basket Weave Embossing Folder.  Using Island Indigo, Melon Mambo and Pear Pizzazz was a different color combination for me but I love how well these colors went together for this card.  I wanted something bright and elegant at the same time.  Adding a touch of the leaves cut out in vellum really give this card some dimension as well.
My own original!

Stamp Club Cards for March

The cards we created for Stamp Club for March were bright and cheerful or soft and delicate.  Our first card used the Bird Banter stamp set and the Bubbles and Fizz SAB DSP.  I love how bright and cheerful this card will be to the person who receives it a late birthday.  I also love the tiny touch of the enamel shapes.  Click here to view the card recipe.

This card uses a different sheet of the SAB DSP and a star enamel shape.
I wanted to create an usual Easter card.  No bunnies.  No eggs.  No cute little animals this year.  I wanted simple, elegant and spring-like.  For this card, we used the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set and matching framelits. Adding the Burlap background stamp also gave this card a bit of dimension and really helped the flowers in a mason jar stick out.  Click here to view the card recipe.

I decided not to add the ribbon on this card and used a smaller Happy Easter stamp on the mason jar.
Our final card used the Lots of Lavender SAB stamp set.  This set is so simple to use and takes no time at all to create with.  I hope you will give it a try.  I love the Simply Stripes embossing folder for the Sweet Sugarplum cardstock layer and the adorable Night of Navy Gingham ribbon.  Click here to view the card recipe.

Perennial Birthday Project Kit

I decided to try out the Perennial Birthday Project Kit (only $27.00 - item #145579) as an option for an upcoming Stamp Camp.  The kit was so easy to put together and the items included were so beautiful and tasteful that I decided this was a kit that my customers need to get in their hands.  So I created a 10-minute video showing how to put the cards together using just the items in the kit as well as adhesive.  I hope you enjoy viewing this video and it will be helpful for you when putting together your own Perennial Birthday Project Kit.  Just a quick note: the Perennial Birthday stamp set ($30.00 WM - item #145757 or $22.00 CM - item #145760) does need to be purchased separately but can be used for other cards and projects as well.

Here are all the supplies that are included in the kit:
