In need of a quick and simple layout for a card? This card was such a
breeze to put together once I had selected my color combination: Real
Red, Basic Black and Whisper White. Once I cut the dress out in this
red and white polka dot pattern from the Summer Smooches DSP, I knew
exactly who to make this card for...my grandmother. She loves anything
red and this dress reminds me of pictures I've seen in the past of her
all dressed up for a night of dancing. So I had to create this card
just for her to let her know that I was thinking of her.
I
added the Needlepoint Border embossing folder to the edge of the
Whisper White layer to give the card a more feminine look and it seemed
to fit with the whole dress making/sewing image I was creating. My
grandmother also liked to sew her own dresses so this was the perfect
addition to the card for her. I added the words "Thoughts of You" from
the Loving Thoughts stamp set and the words "all dressed up with
somewhere to go!" from the All Dressed Up stamp set. I popped up the
dress and dress form with a few dimensionals. Then, I added the words
"made just for you" from the Creatively Yours stamp set to finish off my
grandmother's card.
I
have to admit that this All Dressed Up stamp set and framelits bundle
has become my new favorite! It's so easy to use and you can easily make
