2+ Weeks Away

Sorry I haven't been able to post in a little over 2 weeks.  I've been sick and I've had to take care of a sick little girl.  We've watched lots of Disney Princess and Toy Story movies.  My little girl LOVES Toy Story lately and just can't go anywhere or sleep without her Jessie doll.  She saw one of the Toy Story movies with her brother one day.  Then, we surprised the kids by taking them to Toy Story on Ice back in December.  Oh my!  The kids absolutely loved it but most of all, it started my little girl's obsession with Toy Story.

Well, I promise to post something this week.  I just have to take a few pics and then I can post them on here of some awesome projects I've worked on with fellow demo friends.  Until then...let stamping be your therapy!

Sale-A-Bration & Occasions Mini Samples

Check out these adorable cards made from Sale-A-Bration and Occasions Mini Catalog stamp sets.  They were so much fun to make and I love how one card is elegant and stylish while the other card is cute and fun!

Chocolate Store Awning Card

The Chocolate Store Awning Card came from an idea that a fellow demo, Cam Cao demonstrated to us in November.  She showed us how to make this lovely awning and you won't believe how easy it is.  Just use your Word Window Punch with 2 different colors.  Cut a 1 1/4" x 4" piece of cardstock (or whatever size you want it to cover across your card).  Use Dotto on your grid paper to hold this piece of cardstock in place.  Then begin placing the Word Window punches on the 1 1/4" x 4" cardstock; alternating colors.  Once you have covered your piece of cardstock, turn over the cardstock and use a ruler to bend the Word Window punches towards you.  Flip your cardstock and use a ruler to bend the other end of your Word Window punches in the opposite direction.  Finally, place a small dot of Tombo glue on the Word Window punches that would be flat against your card.  Press them onto your cardstock.  When dry, fold the awning up just a little to add dimension to your card.  And of course, what could be better than a chocolate store?  Chocolate!  So grab a piece of chocolate and try this card yourself.  Enjoy!
