Lunch Bunch Cards for August

Tropical Chic stamp set and framelits made this card so easy to create.  Using bright colors and a little bit of cardstock as a layer adds a lot of dimension and eye-appeal to this card.  I changed up the look of the original card I had seen on Pinterest but I love how they came out.

Same card using different bright colors
I just LOVED this card when I first came across it on Pinterest!  The bright colors and the way Patty decided to outline the flowers with Pool Party added a lot of dimension to this card.  And any time I get to use the Stampin' Blends to color in an image, it makes me feel like an artist.

Lunch Bunch Cards for August

This month's Lunch Bunch cards were bright and cheerful.  The first card used the Accented Blooms stamp set and the Tailored Tag punch.  I loved adding an outline of Pool Party around the flowers.  It added a bit more color and a lot more dimension to the stamped image.

This card was a lot of fun to see when completed in different bright colors.  I have fallen in LOVE with the Tropical Chic stamp set and framelits.  They make creating cards so much fun!

Stamp Club Cards for August

This month's Stamp Club cards were so much fun to create.  Each one had a summer feel and were created with bright colors.  The first card we created made me feel like I should be out on the lake enjoying all the sun.  We created this card using the Lilypad Lake stamp set and framelits.  The framelits made it easy to cut out the sailboats without any fussy cutting.  I love the label framelits!  They made it extra easy to cut out the wording and to back it with a colorful layer.  I love how this card turned out!

My favorite part of creating this card was the Night of Navy and Whisper White color combination for the background.  Cutting 1 inch pieces of cardstock made this card come together so easy when applying them to a Whisper White background layer.  I just left a 1/4" inbetween each Night of Navy piece.  The bright colors of the palm leaves and flowers from the Tropical Chic stamp set added just the right amount of "awe" for this card.

The final card we created used the Sea of Textures stamp set and framelits.  We sponged a bit of ink inside a square stencil and stenciled the little swimming fish before adding the net, seaweed and octupus to the card.  This card came together so quickly that I was able to create multiples to have on hand for various occasions.
