February Club Cards and Projects

This month's Club worked on using the same layout for a feminine or a masculine card by just changing out the stamp set, the DSP and the size of the buttons.  One card used the Chalkboard technique to create a Valentine's Day card or an Anniversary card.  Finally, we created a fun M&M's Matchbook Project (as seen above) for a mini gift for a coworker, a friend or a child's friend.  I also showed how to turn the M&M's Matchbook into a quick Valentine's Day gift.  Directions for creating this fun M&M Matchbook can be found below.  Enjoy!

M&M's Matchbook for Valentine's Day; Makes for a great teacher mini-gift!

Club project's M&M's Matchbook for any use

Directions:

• take a sheet of 8 1/2" x 11" card stock
• on the 8 1/2" side of the card stock, score at the following lengths - 3/4", 4 1/4" and 5"
• on the 11" side of the card stock, cut every 2 3/4"; this will give you 4 pieces of card stock already scored
• fold on the score lines
• staple a mini M&M's packet or Skittles packet inside; place your staple on the 3/4" flap at the bottom of your card stock
• add a 2 1/2" x 3 1/4" DSP or card stock layer, some ribbon, stamped images and/or punched out layers to add a fun look
• pass out to friends, family and/or classmates and enjoy the smile that comes across their face :)
